GroupLink at Beachside
GroupLink is an event where you come to connect with people in your same stage of life and area of town to form a community group.

Community groups are small groups of approximately six married couples or eight individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in a group member’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.

This one-hour event will help you get connected into a Community Group. We believe so much in groups because sustained spiritual growth occurs best in the context of relationships. Community Groups are where we pray together, study God’s Word, care for each other, and it’s where you are missed when you don’t show up.

Upcoming Events
GroupLink is held twice a year in Jan and shortly after school starts in Aug/Sep. If you are interested in joining a group, please fill out the GroupLink registration form and someone will contact you to answer any questions you may have about the event. Starting Point may be a good option to experience Group Life while waiting for the next GroupLink event.

Why do I need to come to GroupLink?
Small groups may be totally new to you and you are nervous about getting involved. No one wants to show up at a stranger’s home for a group meeting. GroupLink puts everyone on the same footing by allowing you to meet for the first time in a neutral setting with other groups.

Existing groups reach a point where they divide and multiply, which provides opportunity for new people to join without the pressure of being the only one new to the group.

What to Expect at GroupLink
GroupLink will start with a very short social time to meet other group members and leaders. Your group will sit together as we cover the basics of what a group is and is not. Groups will then have some time to discuss meeting locations, times, or other details to customize your group.

Groups usually last 12-18 months and are primarily formed around your stage of life. Secondarily, physical area of town may come into play for outlying areas. This sometimes helps ease the burden of longer distance drives. Lastly, the overriding criteria is ‘chemistry’ – do you feel comfortable with your group. If things don’t work for you, changes can happen easily.
