UpStreet (about us)
UpStreet is our Sunday morning environment for elementary-aged kids (K- 5th grade). On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these 3 things stick…

1. I need to make the wise choice.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Morning at a Glance
What happens down on UpStreet?
Kids are challenged every Sunday on UpStreet to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships. Here’s what a typical morning on UpStreet looks like.

Welcome: Each child is greeted by their small group leader. Kids participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the one TRUTH, or bottom line, we want kids to walk away with and remember that morning.

Large Group Environment: Shortly after arriving, kids are moved to their large group environment where they hear the Bible story. We use costumes, props, and characters from the story – anything that makes the Bible come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want and tell God how much they love Him.

Small Group Environment: After participating in worship, kids travel back to their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand how the day’s bottom line can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders on UpStreet are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the TRUTH. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. Every Sunday they connect with the same small group of kids and the same small group leader. That way they get connected and we have the best chance to establish a relationship that’s going to matter when they need it most.

GodTime Cards (for Kids)
Weekly devotions for kids to encourage them to spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. Kids can find their weekly GodTime here: GodTime We want our kids to establish a lifelong habit of spending time with God.

Take Out
The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church! That is why we have created TAKE OUT!

Events on UpStreet

JumpStart
JumpStart is a program where parents and kids learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and is designed to help kids begin their spiritual journey. You can sign up here or on UpStreet.

Family Birthday Celebration
JumpStart is followed by our Family Birthday Celebration, which is a special baptism service for children who have made the decision to trust Christ.

KidVenture
KidVenture is an event designed to allow UpStreet kids and their small group leaders to connect outside of Sunday morning. Mark your calendars for a fun event that happens twice a year!
