Casa Hogar Elim is a privately run orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico that currently houses and cares for over 100 children
Because the orphanage is privately run, the children of Casa Hogar Elim are not adoptable. Each child at the orphanage has his or her own story. Some were rescued from difficult circumstances. Some had their parents pass away. Others have parents who cannot care for them. Some kids spend their entire childhood at the orphanage while others stay for only a short time. As long as a child needs a home, Mama Lupita, the director of the orphanage, will not send them away.
Beachside loves and supports this ministry all year long. Our annual family Christmas visit is always special. We will have an amazing time as we cook a few meals for the kids, throw a fiesta, take the older kids out to dinner take them shopping, and work on a few projects. However, the most important thing we do is simply spend time with and love on the kids.
