Why Another Church?
For far too long the church has been known for what it's against. We want to be known for what we are FOR. We are for our friends and family, our neighbors, our co-workers and colleagues. We are FOR The Emerald Coast. People's perception of Jesus is greatly impacted by their perception of Christians. Simply put, people won't know that God is for them until they know that we are for them. That's why, more than ever, we're committed to creating Beachside South Walton, together.
Why South Walton?
Growing 22% over the past five years, Walton County is one of the fastest-growing areas in the panhandle. Rapidly expanding with young families, just over 40,000 people in the community are disconnected from God and disengaged from the local church. South Walton doesn't need another church - it needs a different kind of church. A church that makes faith practical regardless of your church experiences, the questions and doubts you might have, or where you find yourself.
About Beachside
What started 15 years ago as a small group of people with a passion for their unchurched friends and neighbors, has grown into Beachside Community Church of today - a thriving North Point Partner church in Fort Walton Beach. We've helped thousands of people discover a practical faith that leads to greater meaning and direction in life. We're passionate about leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus, the next generation, and serving our communities.
The Mission
We exist to inspire people to follow Jesus with all of their heart. Why? Because we have found that following Jesus makes life better and makes us better at life. We accomplish our mission by creating relevant, engaging, and helpful environments for people of all stages of life. Through these environments, people can experience Jesus, learn that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them, and apply a practical faith to every aspect of their lives.

We've created a process and have benchmarks that are focused on healthy and sustained growth. We believe this is what's next for Beachside South Walton:

- Phase 2: One large watch party
- Phase 3: Public phase
- Phase 4: Launch Beachside South Walton
Next Steps
For Beachside South Walton to become a reality, we need people just like you who are passionate about creating a church that unchurched people love to attend to join the launch team. Joining the launch team signifies that you are ready to make this dream become a reality. Launch Team members commit to 3 things: 1) inviting others, 2) committing to serve, and 3) giving to make this church a reality.
